Community Kitchen - Feeding the Flathead

For the last several years, quietly, caringly, consistently, a group of benevolents have been rolling up their sleeves and opening up their hearts to share the love of Christ in a very practical way. St. Francis of Assissi said, "Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary use words." Well, Community Kitchen - Feeding the Flathead has been expressing the love of God every week through the free meals it serves.

More than a Soup Kitchen

Feeding the hungry and providing an atmosphere of warm Christian love is what we are all about. It is not our goal to herd people through a buffet line like cattle. Our focus is to serve our guests with the kindness and respect we would expect Jesus to give.

Relationships are important. Each week we see hard working people who could use a little help or perhaps an evening away from the day to day grind. Some people come just because they are lonely and need a wholesome, social connection. The Community Kitchen - Feeding the Flathead provides this kind of atmosphere, along with some great eating!
